Modane Gare FC's Achille Roumier pulled a muscle in his back after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 19 minutes into the game, Benoît Frank was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolfisheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Modane Gare FC the free kick. Modane Gare FC made a substitution. Arnold Pichet replaced Achille Roumier. Nelson Murzeau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Modane Gare FC. 25 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Sidoro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nelson Murzeau. Eleuterio Sidoro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Modane Gare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aymerick Barlier came free, but Jarod Conan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Aymerick Barlier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarod Conan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Wolfisheim got a freekick which was hit by Julien Galliano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ghislain Lebastard in the 40th minute of play forced Modane Gare FC's goalkeeper Jarod Conan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modane Gare FC's Jarod Conan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Ballu in the 46th minute of play. When Erwan Adoniso fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Modane Gare FC's protests and gave Erwan Adoniso a yellow card for diving instead. Erwan Adoniso kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ghislain Lebastard made a kick off. Ghislain Lebastard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarod Conan having to interfere. Ghislain Lebastard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jarod Conan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelson Murzeau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleuterio Sidoro went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Modane Gare FC's Arnold Pichet got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jarod Conan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghislain Lebastard, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Sidoro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nelson Murzeau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wolfisheim's Ghislain Lebastard got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Modane Gare FC booed when Wolfisheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Barbaroux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelson Murzeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Sidoro in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Ghislain Lebastard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Bobet kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Julien Belli struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Nelson Murzeau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Modane Gare FC.
