Pierre Dole scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaud Brie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaud Brie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Costes in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Madjid Pauly had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaud Brie. Witwich FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Madjid Pauly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 15th minute Madjid Pauly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaud Brie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaud Brie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Madjid Pauly, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Arnaud Brie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Dole in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, La Scaloneta's Madjid Pauly made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaud Brie was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 24 minutes, John Costes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Costes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, John Costes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. John Costes hit a great ball. Arnaud Brie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Madjid Pauly in the 40th minute of play. Amaury Duteil kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, John Costes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Arnaud Brie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Damas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jonathan Souche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes John Costes scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Arnaud Brie who was too lazy, 0-7. John Costes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Witwich FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Jullian to maneuver through the defense. Arnaud Brie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moussa Queffelec went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Darren Teisseire made a precise shot to the right of Arnaud Brie. Witwich FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Arnaud Brie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre Dole in the 72nd minute. Pierre Dole's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnaud Brie firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 79th minute, Madjid Pauly left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. 84 minutes into the match, John Costes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnaud Brie, 0-11. Arnaud Brie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Madjid Pauly, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A hard shot 89 in the game by Pierre Dole from a close distance when the talented Arnaud Brie managed to make a qualified save. Witwich FC's players were relieved. 90 minutes into the match, Witwich FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moussa Queffelec came free, but Arnaud Brie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Jullian's late challenge caught a La Scaloneta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Jullian helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Witwich FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl Jullian. Arnaud Brie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madjid Pauly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Scaloneta played a much better game than Witwich FC and deserved their victory. The Witwich FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
