With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaud Brie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnaud Brie made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Sofiane Fleurant sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the game, Lilian Vernhet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnaud Brie. Lilian Vernhet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Marin Rozet charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marin Rozet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 29 minutes into the match, Witwich FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lilian Vernhet came free, but Arnaud Brie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donald Saarberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaud Brie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilian Vernhet in the 37th minute of play forced Witwich FC's goalkeeper Arnaud Brie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Witwich FC's goalkeeper Arnaud Brie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donald Saarberg. In the 40th minute Lilian Vernhet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaud Brie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Damas to make the kick off. Arnaud Brie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Lambres getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. After some careless play in the Witwich FC defense, Donald Saarberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaud Brie. The Witwich FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaud Brie should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Witwich FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jimmy Darde hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Donald Saarberg made a precise shot to the right of Arnaud Brie. Witwich FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. With a little luck, Lambres's Steven Grenard got control of the ball when Alex Damas tried to sneak it across the goal line.
