Pierre-Olivier Ballot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Pierre-Olivier Ballot came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Rouen's Wendell Borges. But to his dismay, Wendell Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 41 minutes into the match, Rouen's Frans Sundberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierre-Olivier Ballot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paul Busquet kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Rouen were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kosmas Karastathis to make the kick off. Kosmas Karastathis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Ballot having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match Hugo Machard climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-8 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Pierre-Olivier Ballot. In the 76th minute, Rouen's Hugo Machard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Morey's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Wendell Borges scored to the left of an out of position Pierre-Olivier Ballot, making the score, 0-10. Farid Lemasson got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Clem Castel. Lyudmil Kulev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pierre-Olivier Ballot. Morey's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Farid Lemasson with Charly Crochet as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 94 minutes into the game, Farid Lemasson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rouen's Donovan Depoorter quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 94th minute, Donovan Depoorter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Frans Sundberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rouen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morey the free kick. When the final whistle sounded Rouen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Morey.
