Jason Geneix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Claisse having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ménétrol's zone, Léon Beaussart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Manilan came out of the goal and Léon Beaussart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Journet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Amine Brunie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ménétrol's Rafael Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Fresneau in the 10th minute of play. Victor Claisse acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Éloi Reymann. When Régis Fresneau fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paris Saint Germain's protests and gave Régis Fresneau a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Paris Saint Germain got a freekick which was hit by Régis Fresneau. Victor Claisse made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Jimenez in the 18th minute. Rafael Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léon Beaussart in the 22nd minute of the match. André Jimenez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Victor Claisse skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rafael Manilan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léon Beaussart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léon Beaussart in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Ménétrol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by François-Xavier Garot to maneuver through the defense. If Albert Journet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute of the match Éloi Reymann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Claisse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Jimenez to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, André Jimenez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Claisse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Jimenez's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54thth minute of the game André Jimenez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paris Saint Germain's Victor Claisse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Régis Fresneau got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint Germain's Régis Fresneau got a free kick in the 56th minute. Paris Saint Germain's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 85 minutes into the game, Lenny Chapon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ménétrol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paris Saint Germain the free kick. A collision led to Ménétrol getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Lenny Chapon hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Paris Saint Germain's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Journet came free, but Victor Claisse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Buffiere charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelson Buffiere the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nelson Buffiere kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ménétrol's Donatien Teyssandier suffered a sore thigh after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 94 played minutes Paris Saint Germain got a freekick which was hit by Jérémie Bréant. When the referee ended the match the Ménétrol players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
