The penalty shot was made by Simão Sampaio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Drep's Thibaut Hidalgo. 2-0. Marignane's Ulryk Ludwa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Ulryk Ludwa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thibaut Hidalgo was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Marignane were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Drep's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simão Sampaio took the corner. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hervé Tétard made a kick off. Ulryk Ludwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaut Hidalgo having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Fernand Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean-Pierre Magnet during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gabriel Cloarec hit a great ball. Marignane's Simão Sampaio got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thibaut Hidalgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Didierjean in the 93rd minute of play. Thibaut Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Didierjean, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanislas Landy in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaut Hidalgo saved Drep from getting behind. Drep's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
