Télindière's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Yann Porquet, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Geoffrey Danel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Labbeville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Télindière the free kick. The referee showed Dave Bertrand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Télindière got a freekick which was hit by Dave Bertrand. If Mourad Chêne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Télindière fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Labbeville were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
