The corner ended in Batiste Le Mouel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Reyrieux's Maël Romanet did a great save. Maël Romanet made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Batiste Le Mouel sent off a good shot on target. Batiste Le Mouel might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maël Romanet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Batiste Le Mouel ran back to his position shaking his head. Gauthier Sylla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guy Gagnaire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Batiste Le Mouel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maël Romanet was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 19 played minutes Reyrieux got a freekick which was hit by Luis Cresson. After 21 played minutes Reyrieux got a freekick which was hit by Noa Jannot. Maël Romanet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Dudon in the 22nd minute of the match. Boris Souchu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Marin Guine fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reyrieux's protests and gave Marin Guine a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Marin Guine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batiste Le Mouel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Teddy Ferri came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Paris FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy Ferri couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Flavian Sureau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reyrieux's Maël Romanet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Reyrieux from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute of the match Noureddine Pinet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tim Chauvire skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Reyrieux getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Guy Gagnaire hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Pascal Dudon made the kick off in the second half. Gauthier Sylla's late challenge caught a Paris FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gauthier Sylla helped the player get up and apologised. Gauthier Sylla hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Batiste Le Mouel scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maël Romanet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 63 minutes, Guy Gagnaire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reyrieux's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guy Gagnaire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Yohann Tirel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paris FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yohann Tirel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maël Romanet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Noa Jannot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Chauvire having to make a save. In the 71st minute, Yohann Tirel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paris FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Gauthier Sylla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78thth minute of the game Noa Jannot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paris FC's Tim Chauvire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boris Souchu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pascal Dudon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Reyrieux's zone, Yohann Tirel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maël Romanet came out of the goal and Yohann Tirel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gauthier Sylla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Tim Chauvire made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Paris FC had played much better football throughout.
