Terry Pinard came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Triez's Grégoire Montaigne. But to his dismay, Grégoire Montaigne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Terry Pinard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Geiger in the 34th minute of play. Terry Pinard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brayden Bonnison in the 36th minute of the match. If Grégoire Montaigne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Triez's Brayden Bonnison in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Star F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Terry Pinard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brayden Bonnison, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jordy Lemaire was the one to do the kick off. Charles-Emmanuel Varin charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Red Star F.C.'s Brandon Bolé got a free kick in the 57th minute. The Triez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. 65 minutes into the match, Grégoire Montaigne dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Terry Pinard, 0-9. Grégoire Montaigne charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grégoire Montaigne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brayden Bonnison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Terry Pinard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Red Star F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Grégoire Montaigne fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grégoire Montaigne in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Terry Pinard saved Red Star F.C. from getting behind. Terry Pinard made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Brayden Bonnison sent off a good shot on target. Brayden Bonnison came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Terry Pinard could save by the left post. Grégoire Montaigne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Triez's Brayden Bonnison slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Terry Pinard. That made the score 0-11 after 83 minutes of play. Brayden Bonnison's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Terry Pinard firmly grabbed it by the left post. Triez made a substitution. Matheo Giraudon replaced Brayden Bonnison. In the 90th minute, Djibril Boulant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Terry Pinard was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. After 93 minutes of play, Triez's Justin Geiger made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Terry Pinard was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Red Star F.C.'s Terry Pinard got control of the ball when Matheo Giraudon tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Triez could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Red Star F.C. throughout the match.
