Franz Mérieau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Brian Travert hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Salle's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martin Idsøe ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Edgard Crochet managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Travert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bixente Rodier kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Tommy Labbé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Martin Idsøe put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Franz Mérieau. Salle's Franz Mérieau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Salle from getting a goal against them. Martin Idsøe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Franz Mérieau when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 91 minutes into the game, Raphaël Archimbaud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSG FC the free kick. The corner ended in Martin Idsøe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Salle's Franz Mérieau did a great save. Salle's Franz Mérieau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Idsøe in the 95th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 98 minutes into the game, when Jean-Cyrille Demoulin put in a rough tackle. After 99 played minutes PSG FC got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Cyrille Demoulin. PSG FC played a much better game than Salle and deserved their victory. The Salle players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
