Herblay's Tristan Vicente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Yeo in the 11th minute of play. Valeriu Lovin got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Peter Yeo. After some careless play in the Team FCTS defense, Léon Monnet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Luiz Souza. The Team FCTS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Luiz Souza should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Herblay's Léon Monnet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Luiz Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Luiz Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léon Monnet, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Feng Yu Ting fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team FCTS's protests and gave Feng Yu Ting a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Team FCTS's Feng Yu Ting got a free kick in the 36th minute. Herblay's Tristan Vicente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Pawlak in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Noureddine Gerbeau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joël Willaume hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gwidon Pawlak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Team FCTS's goal looked a bit too open when Antonin Dagorne came free, but André Luiz Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Léon Monnet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Luiz Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Antonin Dagorne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Souza having to interfere. Team FCTS made a substitution. José Viala replaced Djibril Soto. The Team FCTS fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Team FCTS's Gwidon Pawlak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tristan Vicente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Viala in the 68th minute of the match. Gwidon Pawlaks short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Tristan Vicente to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. André Luiz Souza came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Herblay's Léon Monnet. But to his dismay, Léon Monnet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 87th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurent Vilcot to maneuver through the defense. Dimitri Bougault kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Antonin Dagorne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herblay's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonin Dagorne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luiz Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Léon Monnet came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Herblay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léon Monnet couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Team FCTS's zone, Antonin Dagorne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Souza came out of the goal and Antonin Dagorne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
