Aniceto Iniesta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marino Serrano having to interfere. Playa de Comarruga's Marino Serrano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis-Miguel Acha in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Redondo in the 26th minute of play forced Armallones UD's goalkeeper Eriz Vicente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Armallones UD's Eriz Vicente got control of the ball when Juan Castaño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aniceto Iniesta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Juan Castaño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa de Comarruga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Castaño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eriz Vicente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Castaño in the 35th minute. After 39 played minutes Playa de Comarruga got a freekick which was hit by Quirce Pedrosa. Adolfo Redondo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Playa de Comarruga's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Redondo to make the kick off. Quirce Pedrosa kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Aniceto Iniesta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Marino Serrano made a huge save. Juan Castaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eriz Vicente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adolfo Redondo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Playa de Comarruga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Redondo couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Adolfo Redondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriz Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Redondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriz Vicente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Armallones UD got a freekick which was hit by Platon Andres. The supporters of Playa de Comarruga booed when Armallones UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Platon Andres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bienvenido Alonso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Lucio Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Bienvenido Alonso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriz Vicente showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Playa de Comarruga defense, Aniceto Iniesta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marino Serrano. The Playa de Comarruga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marino Serrano should have stopped the shot. Eriz Vicente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Redondo in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Juan Castaño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Playa de Comarruga's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Castaño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriz Vicente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Castaño in the 88th minute of play forced Armallones UD's goalkeeper Eriz Vicente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis-Miguel Acha struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Marino Serrano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armallones UD. In the 95th minute Adolfo Redondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriz Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
