Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Acojeja FC's Reimundo Albizua started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonio Bouzas hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Timo Puyol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reimundo Albizua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Geleberto Nobo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the El Pozo De Los Frailes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geleberto Nobo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Acojeja FC's zone, Geleberto Nobo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciceron Casillas came out of the goal and Geleberto Nobo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Acojeja FC defense, Geleberto Nobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciceron Casillas. The Acojeja FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciceron Casillas should have stopped the shot. Geleberto Nobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciceron Casillas having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Luis-Miguel Castellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Acojeja FC's Fresco Vidal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geleberto Nobo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciceron Casillas saved Acojeja FC from getting behind. The supporters of El Pozo De Los Frailes booed when Acojeja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Bouzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acojeja FC's Ciceron Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geleberto Nobo in the 48th minute of play. The Acojeja FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Pozo De Los Frailes were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Macedonio Feal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timo Puyol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Dobale, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Luis-Miguel Castellano kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, El Pozo De Los Frailes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Erosa to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Acojeja FC's Leroy Rienda tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, El Pozo De Los Frailes's Luis-Miguel Castellano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luis-Miguel Castellano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of El Pozo De Los Frailes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luis-Miguel Castellano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Luis-Miguel Castellano hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Macedonio Feal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Gaudencio Incera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 74th minute, Macedonio Feal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciceron Casillas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 81st minute, Gaudencio Incera made a precise shot to the right of Ciceron Casillas. Acojeja FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Ciceron Casillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Macedonio Feal's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Geleberto Nobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ciceron Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Macedonio Feal rounded Acojeja FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. El Pozo De Los Frailes played a much better game than Acojeja FC and deserved their victory. The Acojeja FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
