When Felix Lopez de Toro fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored viñalonga 2's protests and gave Felix Lopez de Toro a yellow card for diving instead. Davi Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheche Espinosa in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of PonteOurense booed when viñalonga 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iratze Hidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Leocadio Paz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and viñalonga 2's Davi Maia didn't even have to move. Iker Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Zapico in the 70th minute of play. August Ekenberg struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Iker Sánchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for viñalonga 2. In the 73rd minute, William Zapico fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Iker Sánchez, passed just outside the right post. Cheche Espinosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Maia having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PonteOurense fans cheered their team off the field, for while viñalonga 2 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
