Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Francesco De Pablo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 21 minutes into the game, Nagoi Lopez de Toro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Club Huelva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Alfahuara C.F. the free kick. Nagoi Lopez de Toro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes La Alfahuara C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Unai Molina. The Real Club Huelva fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Real Club Huelva's Gaston Rapado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Nagoi Lopez de Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Rapado in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Seve Montiel saved La Alfahuara C.F. from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in La Alfahuara C.F.'s zone, Nagoi Lopez de Toro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seve Montiel came out of the goal and Nagoi Lopez de Toro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fiz Acha to make the kick off. If Gaston Rapado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd match minute, Real Club Huelva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gorka Leseduarte to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Gorka Leseduarte got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gaston Rapado in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Seve Montiel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gaston Rapado might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seve Montiel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Rapado ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaston Rapado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Seve Montiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Club Huelva's Joselito Gómez was substituted for Gaston Rapado. In the 76th match minute, La Alfahuara C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Benítez to maneuver through the defense. Joselito Gómez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joselito Gómez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Seve Montiel 81 minutes into the match. If Baraquiel Vazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, one of La Alfahuara C.F.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Real Club Huelva's Omar Llinares got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Seve Montiel. After 90 minutes of play, Real Club Huelva's Omar Llinares made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seve Montiel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Nagoi Lopez de Toro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Seve Montiel. That made the score 1-7 in the 96 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Real Club Huelva left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Alfahuara C.F..
