RGT 2005 CF's Santos Cao got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, RGT 2005 CF's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Nafría came free, but Zabulón Prieto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell's Peter Riells in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell's Rolando Nafría looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 37 minutes, Santos Cao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RGT 2005 CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Cao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zabulón Prieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Riells in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Santos Cao made the kick off in the second half. Zabulón Prieto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gení santillana in the 55th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Santos Cao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RGT 2005 CF and the El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, RGT 2005 CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Cao to maneuver through the defense. El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell's Peter Riells got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rolando Nafría had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peter Riells had several of the RGT 2005 CF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Zabulón Prieto as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Gení santillana fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell's protests and gave Gení santillana a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of RGT 2005 CF booed when El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gení santillana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, RGT 2005 CF's Americo Grau broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Santos Cao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Peter Riells took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Zabulón Prieto to make any attempt to save it. Zabulón Prieto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Riells, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Zabulón Prieto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter Riells showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 84 minute of play. The RGT 2005 CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Pobla Nou De Benitatxell were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
