After some careless play in the Peces del infierno defense, Rodney Beloki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Nadal. The Peces del infierno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Nadal should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Soutochao Santa Maria SAD's Rutenio Portillo got control of the ball when Lazcano Candela tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Fran Aguilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soutochao Santa Maria SAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fran Aguilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Rio Camara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Rodney Beloki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peces del infierno's Gil Nadal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Rio Camara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Nadal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th play minute Anko Martinez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rutenio Portillo. 1-2. 37 minutes into the match, Fernando Sans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil Nadal. Peces del infierno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Sans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Rodney Beloki put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Gil Nadal. Rodolfo Valcarcel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gil Nadal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soutochao Santa Maria SAD's Fran Aguilo suffered a concussion in the 46th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Soutochao Santa Maria SAD's Oriol Avila was substituted for Fran Aguilo. A collision led to Peces del infierno getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lazcano Candela hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Gil Nadal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodney Beloki's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Rodney Beloki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
