The audience thought a goal was coming when Richie Varela got free with Cristobal Verges in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Foeke Kleiker in the 15th minute of play forced Higuera La Real's goalkeeper Frisco Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, CB Wombats Albacete's goalkeeper Cristobal Verges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Leseduarte. In the 22nd match minute, Higuera La Real was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Leseduarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Raymundo Garrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frisco Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, CB Wombats Albacete's Foeke Kleiker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frisco Delgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Higuera La Real's zone, Foeke Kleiker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frisco Delgado came out of the goal and Foeke Kleiker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Foeke Kleiker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Higuera La Real's Frisco Delgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Foeke Kleiker in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frisco Delgado saved Higuera La Real from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipillo Diez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipillo Diez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Verges having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Richie Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Higuera La Real and the CB Wombats Albacete players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Richie Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Foeke Kleiker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frisco Delgado was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Raymundo Garrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chan Mayol hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Cristobal Verges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipillo Diez in the 82nd minute of the match. CB Wombats Albacete's Cristobal Verges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipillo Diez in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Foeke Kleiker in the 85th minute of play forced Higuera La Real's goalkeeper Frisco Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chan Mayol got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of CB Wombats Albacete booed when Higuera La Real was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chan Mayol didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Foeke Kleiker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Higuera La Real's protests and gave Felipillo Diez a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Higuera La Real got a freekick which was hit by Felipillo Diez. Frisco Delgado had great luck who in the 91stth minute grab hold of the ball when Foeke Kleiker from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Rogelio Leseduarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Verges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Leseduarte in the 97th minute of play.
