Policarpio Pareja was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 10 minutes into the game, Gumersindo Buenafuente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Policarpio Pareja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Lerga's zone, Gumersindo Buenafuente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Policarpio Pareja came out of the goal and Gumersindo Buenafuente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xuaco Quevedo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Policarpio Pareja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porzuna C.F.. In the 39th minute Gumersindo Buenafuente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Policarpio Pareja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lerga's Policarpio Pareja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Campomanes in the 40th minute of play. Gumersindo Buenafuente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Policarpio Pareja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Ramiro Campomanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Xuaco Quevedo in the 54th minute really tested Policarpio Pareja's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gumersindo Buenafuente in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Policarpio Pareja saved Lerga from getting behind. Xuaco Quevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Policarpio Pareja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Gumersindo Buenafuente scored 0-6 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Policarpio Pareja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73rd play minutes Gumersindo Buenafuente shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Policarpio Pareja and just under the crossbar into goal. Nacho Leon's late challenge caught a Porzuna C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nacho Leon helped the player get up and apologised. With his leg Policarpio Pareja managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Porzuna C.F.'s Gumersindo Buenafuente fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 81 minutes, Gumersindo Buenafuente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porzuna C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gumersindo Buenafuente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Gumersindo Buenafuente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Policarpio Pareja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gumersindo Buenafuente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porzuna C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gumersindo Buenafuente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Policarpio Pareja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvar Torrente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Porzuna C.F.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
