The referee ignored San Bartolome De Los Montes CD's protests and gave Clodoveo Aguado a yellow card for diving instead. Clodoveo Aguado hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Ireno Canyelles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Chap Dagora was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ireno Canyelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Chap Dagora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in San Bartolome De Los Montes CD's zone, Ireno Canyelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chap Dagora came out of the goal and Ireno Canyelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ireno Canyelles in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chap Dagora, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to San Bartolome De Los Montes CD getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Beltza Ballesteros hit a great ball. If Olaf Plaski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olaf Plaski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Chap Dagora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chap Dagora was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Francesco Gasso. Pelayo Nunez kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ireno Canyelles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Chap Dagora when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, San Bartolome De Los Montes CD's goalkeeper Chap Dagora had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ireno Canyelles. Celso Landa took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eleuterio Menendez. Eleuterio Menendez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 59th minute Celso Landa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Menendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Bartolome De Los Montes CD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Constantino Alcalde was slow to take the kick. During this time Manchester United's players had a chance to rest. Manchester United's Constantino Alcalde was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chap Dagora in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Manchester United's Eleuterio Menendez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Celso Landa managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Bartolome De Los Montes CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Landa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Menendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Olaf Plaski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Ireno Canyelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chap Dagora having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Olaf Plaski notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of San Bartolome De Los Montes CD's Chap Dagora. Chap Dagora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Manchester United's Ireno Canyelles in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 94th match minute, San Bartolome De Los Montes CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xicu Cienfuegos to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes, Manchester United's Loren Santander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chap Dagora came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester United reached it.
