Galo Morcego was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Filiberto Babia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filiberto Babia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Raimundo Abril lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 22nd minute, one of Real Grupo Covadonga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Grupo Covadonga. In the 25th minute, Ciro Jubera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Benito was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Blai Griful hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Carlos Barro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Galo Morcego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zuri Garcia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The shot was a little too simple and Reinaldo Benito could save by the left post. Toño Macías was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Iznalloz's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yvon Yeste during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Grupo Covadonga had played much better football throughout.
