The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Troy Baños had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TGN Academy's Mergildo Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Troy Baños in the 9th minute of play. Dagoberto Segura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Beila Sacristán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Angelo Nunez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Troy Baños came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Guaza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Troy Baños couldn't finish the play. Mergildo Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josias De la Torre, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Guaza's Josias De la Torre got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in TGN Academy's zone, Josias De la Torre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mergildo Sancho came out of the goal and Josias De la Torre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Josias De la Torre made a precise shot to the right of Mergildo Sancho. TGN Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josias De la Torre made a kick off. Ramón Nunez's late challenge caught a Guaza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Nunez helped the player get up and apologised. Ramón Nunez kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of TGN Academy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guaza:s goal. Josias De la Torre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mergildo Sancho came out and tried to block the shot, but Josias De la Torre slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute of the match, Josias De la Torre tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mergildo Sancho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Nunez in the 63rd minute of play forced Guaza's goalkeeper Beila Sacristán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dagoberto Segura came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the TGN Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagoberto Segura couldn't finish the play. If Angelo Nunez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Troy Baños could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Mergildo Sancho made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Angelo Nunez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Guaza's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Segura came free, but Beila Sacristán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Troy Baños fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mergildo Sancho having to interfere. Josias De la Torre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, TGN Academy's goalkeeper Mergildo Sancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Troy Baños. TGN Academy's Dagoberto Segura got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Guaza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
