Cipriano Vilanova took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inautzi Guerrero. Puerto Real CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reyes Vallejo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maroto in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inautzi Guerrero saved Puerto Real CF from getting behind. Inautzi Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maroto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Puerto Real CF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. John Sainz hit a great ball. When Tomás Zárate came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Puerto Real CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Zárate couldn't finish the play. Inautzi Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maroto in the 26th minute of play. If José Maroto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porcinos CF's Eugenio Llinares got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Puerto Real CF's Inautzi Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maroto in the 39th minute of play. Eugenio Llinares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aita Llorca was the one to do the kick off. Aita Llorca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Porcinos CF's Ciceron Companys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reyes Vallejo in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aita Llorca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciceron Companys was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Puerto Real CF's goal looked a bit too open when José Maroto came free, but Inautzi Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Reyes Vallejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciceron Companys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aita Llorca, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With his leg Inautzi Guerrero managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Porcinos CF's Eugenio Llinares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aita Llorca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciceron Companys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Puerto Real CF's Aita Llorca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciceron Companys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
