The tension between the Gata de Cueva CF and the Orihuela Deportiva players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gata de Cueva CF getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Paco Casillas hit a great ball. Orihuela Deportiva's Juan-Francisco Ecija got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carmelo Fresnos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Killian Mbappè stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan-Francisco Ecija's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, Gata de Cueva CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quique Molina to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Orihuela Deportiva booed when Gata de Cueva CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Juan-Francisco Ecija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Fresnos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Orihuela Deportiva got a freekick which was hit by Miro Etxeberria. A hard shot by Roberts Lewandowski from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Cordarell Fuentes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zachary Jeziorkowski during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Juan-Francisco Ecija came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Orihuela Deportiva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Francisco Ecija couldn't finish the play. Arcadio Bargas hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Quico Mayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Fresnos took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Killian Mbappè. Killian Mbappè dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Juan-Francisco Ecija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Killian Mbappè tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Fresnos in the 45th minute of play forced Gata de Cueva CF's goalkeeper Killian Mbappè to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan-Francisco Ecija was the one to do the kick off. Killian Mbappè was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Goyo Abasalo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. Juan-Francisco Ecija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Killian Mbappè having to interfere. Zachary Jeziorkowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Killian Mbappè came out and tried to block the shot, but Zachary Jeziorkowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 58th minute. In the 66th minute, Juan-Francisco Ecija fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 68 played minutes Orihuela Deportiva got a freekick which was hit by Miro Etxeberria. Melkor Fuente hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Francisco Ecija in the 77th minute of play forced Gata de Cueva CF's goalkeeper Killian Mbappè to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan-Francisco Ecija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Killian Mbappè having to interfere. If Zachary Jeziorkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Orihuela Deportiva's Juan-Francisco Ecija dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 90th minute, Juan-Francisco Ecija got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orihuela Deportiva's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
