Spectators: 7690 (Terracing: 5768, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xinto Vega started the match with the kick off. Marquez Vuelta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Curro Guasch. In the 17th minute Xinto Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Sobera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaskon Cifuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Sobera having to interfere. If Gaskon Cifuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Sobera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xinto Vega went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 30 minutes, Gabino Barro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Julepe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabino Barro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xinto Vega took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Sobera. Fernando Sobera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Xinto Vega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Gaskon Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Sobera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xinto Vega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xinto Vega in the 44th minute of play forced Julepe's goalkeeper Fernando Sobera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Giro Munoz made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Xinto Vega reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernando Sobera. The goal made the score 0-5. San Sadurniño's Xinto Vega got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Curro Guasch hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Xinto Vega rounded Julepe's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. If Gaskon Cifuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lawrence Silvestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Sobera having to interfere. Julepe's Fernando Sobera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xinto Vega in the 70th minute of play. Giro Munoz might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marquez Vuelta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giro Munoz ran back to his position shaking his head. Julepe's Fernando Sobera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xinto Vega in the 75th minute of play. Gabino Barro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquez Vuelta having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Fernando Sobera, was totally fooled by San Sadurniño's Lonzo Quintanilla, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Julepe's zone, Gaskon Cifuentes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Sobera came out of the goal and Gaskon Cifuentes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Julepe's Guillerme Helguera got a free kick in the 87th minute. Lonzo Quintanilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Gabino Barro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Julepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Sadurniño the free kick. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Julepe's goalkeeper Fernando Sobera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaskon Cifuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giro Munoz in the 98th minute of play forced San Sadurniño's goalkeeper Marquez Vuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaskon Cifuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Julepe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. San Sadurniño were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
