Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) RCDE's Moisés Justo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valencia's Bautista Vila got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, RCDE's goalkeeper Michael Camacho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Pedraza. Primitivo Cordoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Leseduarte in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Timoteo Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Camacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Leseduarte in the 14th minute of the match. If Timoteo Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Valencia defense, Anacleto Leseduarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Cordoba. The Valencia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Cordoba should have stopped the shot. Bautista Vila struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Michael Camacho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia. In the 26th minute, Bautista Vila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Camacho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, RCDE's Illan Garrido got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Valencia's Salvador Pedraza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michael Camacho. Michael Camacho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Bautista Vila took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Michael Camacho to make any attempt to save it. 37 minutes into the match, Valencia's Domingo Casta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Camacho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michael Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Pedraza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, RCDE's Michael Camacho got control of the ball when Bautista Vila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michael Camacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Leal in the 42nd minute of play. When Domingo Casta fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valencia's protests and gave Domingo Casta a yellow card for diving instead. Domingo Casta hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Timoteo Leal made the kick off in the second half. Anacleto Leseduarte in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Primitivo Cordoba, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 56 minutes of play, Valencia's Timoteo Leal made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Camacho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Telmo De la Torre hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Bautista Vila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bautista Vila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Camacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Pedraza in the 68th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Valencia's goalkeeper Primitivo Cordoba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Costa. After 81 minutes of play Valencia's Domingo Casta was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 82 played minutes Valencia got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Casta. In the 84thth minute of the game Moisés Justo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valencia's Primitivo Cordoba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Salvador Pedraza came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Valencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Pedraza couldn't finish the play. RCDE's Michael Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Pedraza in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, RCDE's goal looked a bit too open when Bautista Vila came free, but Michael Camacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bautista Vila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Primitivo Cordoba managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when RCDE's Anacleto Leseduarte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Valencia had played much better football throughout.
