When Juan-Francisco Ecija fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orihuela Deportiva's protests and gave Juan-Francisco Ecija a yellow card for diving instead. Juan-Francisco Ecija hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The RCDE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Camacho should have stopped the shot. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Orihuela Deportiva booed when RCDE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo De la Torre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Leseduarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Cordarell Fuentes made a huge save.
