An unexpectedly hard shot by Stu Burton in the 14th minute of play forced Club Voleibol Teruel's goalkeeper Lolo Sobera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rufio Talavera hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Dudu Georgescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lolo Sobera. Club Voleibol Teruel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dudu Georgescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dudu Georgescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lolo Sobera having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Cruz Pedraza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Club Voleibol Teruel booed when REY DE LA GOLDEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stu Burton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Stu Burton managed to get in a good position for a shot. REY DE LA GOLDEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Stu Burton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lolo Sobera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lolo Sobera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Georgescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The REY DE LA GOLDEN fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when REY DE LA GOLDEN's Dudu Georgescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stu Burton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Rufio Talavera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stu Burton scored 0-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lolo Sobera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Club Voleibol Teruel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. REY DE LA GOLDEN were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dudu Georgescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Lolo Sobera managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when REY DE LA GOLDEN's Dudu Georgescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 57 played minutes Club Voleibol Teruel got a freekick which was hit by Regis Quesada. After recieving a nice pass, REY DE LA GOLDEN's Baldemer Beloki tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, REY DE LA GOLDEN's Dudu Georgescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lolo Sobera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With a little luck, Club Voleibol Teruel's Lolo Sobera got control of the ball when Dudu Georgescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Stu Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lolo Sobera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Toño Fuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Stu Burton managed to get in a good position for a shot.
