Dei Manrique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almagro's Salvador Solera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Marcilla in the 8th minute of play. Almagro's Santi Quesada got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santi Quesada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aniol Carmona having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, Almagro's Santi Quesada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aniol Carmona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llope Ucero to maneuver through the defense. If Benito Marcilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Eli Caballero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Borrás's late challenge caught a Izar Gorria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Borrás helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Almagro's Roberto Borrás got a free kick in the 37th minute. Llope Ucero hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Salvador Solera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dei Manrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Izar Gorria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eli Caballero to maneuver through the defense. Malvin Gómez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manolo De Toro to strike the kick off in the second half. Dei Manrique fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Solera having to interfere. Malvin Gómez, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Almagro's Salvador Solera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Marcilla in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Benito Marcilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Solera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Benito Marcilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almagro's Salvador Solera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Salvador Solera managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Izar Gorria's Dei Manrique fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Almagro getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lauro Castro hit a great ball. Dei Manrique's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Salvador Solera firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Izar Gorria booed when Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dei Manrique fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Solera having to interfere. Izar Gorria's Benito Marcilla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Salvador Solera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Marcilla in the 90th minute of the match. Benito Marcilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Solera having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Salvador Solera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Izar Gorria's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
