In the 5th minute, Mauro Caviezel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Luzaga's goalkeeper Germán Perpiñán had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Molina. With a little luck, Luzaga's Germán Perpiñán got control of the ball when Iraitz Gil tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Luzaga getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Doriva Negri hit a great ball. Germán Perpiñán acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Locaio Casals. After 19 played minutes Orson got a freekick which was hit by Valentino Zubiaga. Orson's Alifonso Caballero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramone Turienzo in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Luzaga's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Molina came free, but Germán Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Orson defense, Ramone Turienzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alifonso Caballero. The Orson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alifonso Caballero should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Orson getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emilio Molina hit a great ball. Alifonso Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Orozco in the 31st minute of the match. Orson's Alifonso Caballero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Orozco in the 33rd minute of play. Alifonso Caballero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Caviezel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 38 minutes, Ramone Turienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luzaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramone Turienzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Bingen Lillo in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Orson's Locaio Casals. In the 46th minute, Orson's Emilio Molina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Germán Perpiñán. Germán Perpiñán yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Orozco was the one to do the kick off. Ramone Turienzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Alifonso Caballero made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramone Turienzo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alifonso Caballero. That made the score 1-2 in the 56 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Luzaga's Alifonso Caballero threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mauro Caviezel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Orson's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Carolo Orozco scored to the left of an out of position Alifonso Caballero, making the score, 1-3. Orson's Alifonso Caballero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramone Turienzo in the 66th minute of play. Germán Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Molina in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Bingen Lillo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Orson's Alifonso Caballero. Alifonso Caballero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Luzaga booed when Orson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natal Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alifonso Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramone Turienzo in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Luzaga's Ramone Turienzo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alifonso Caballero.
