The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carmelo Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeru Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Vidal in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Nobo in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeru Peña saved SPL from getting behind. If Timo Dorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemencin santillana hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, SPL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Benedicto to maneuver through the defense. Zeru Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Dorado in the 31st minute of play. When Veremundo Alcantara fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPL's protests and gave Veremundo Alcantara a yellow card for diving instead. Veremundo Alcantara hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Zeru Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Nobo in the 33rd minute of play. Fidencio Cabezas struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Damian Lehoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPL. Victorino Nobo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Saturnino Murcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeru Peña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

51 minutes into the game, Carmelo Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fansorda CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SPL the free kick. A collision led to Fansorda CF getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Carmelo Vidal hit a great ball. Damian Lehoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veremundo Alcantara, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Victorino Nobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Veremundo Alcantara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Lehoi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fansorda CF's Timo Dorado got a free kick in the 68th minute. Raúl Paz charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Paz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Nobo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeru Peña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veremundo Alcantara in the 76th minute of play forced Fansorda CF's goalkeeper Damian Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Isandro Erosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPL's supporters rose to their feet, but Isandro Erosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Lehoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 minutes of play, Fansorda CF's Victorino Nobo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeru Peña was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd match minute, Fansorda CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Dorado to maneuver through the defense. Columbo Mudarra kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Saturnino Murcia struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Zeru Peña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fansorda CF. Fansorda CF's Carmelo Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fansorda CF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
