Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serginho Massa made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Carolo Orozco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Almagro's Salvador Solera. Salvador Solera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ramone Turienzo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Luzaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramone Turienzo couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, Rufo Lermo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luzaga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almagro the free kick. When Serginho Massa fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luzaga's protests and gave Serginho Massa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Almagro booed when Luzaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serginho Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manolo De Toro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germán Perpiñán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Luzaga's Ramone Turienzo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Almagro's Cristos Fuente shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Germán Perpiñán but with some difficulty. The supporters of Luzaga booed when Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llope Ucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Almagro's Manolo De Toro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Germán Perpiñán. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Llope Ucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Germán Perpiñán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Encina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Germán Perpiñán. Luzaga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Luzaga's Serginho Massa in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almagro's goalie prevented a goal. After 42 minutes of play, Luzaga's Ramone Turienzo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salvador Solera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute Manolo De Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manolo De Toro to strike the kick off in the second half. If Mauro Caviezel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Salvador Solera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauro Castro's late challenge caught a Luzaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lauro Castro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Luzaga booed when Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Almagro's Santi Quesada made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germán Perpiñán was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serginho Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Salvador Solera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Caviezel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serginho Massa in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Solera saved Almagro from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Manolo De Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almagro's supporters rose to their feet, but Manolo De Toro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Germán Perpiñán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador Solera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastia Litago, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Bingen Lillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luzaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Bingen Lillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Solera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador Solera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Caviezel in the 83rd minute of the match. If Carolo Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramone Turienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Salvador Solera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Luzaga's Ramone Turienzo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salvador Solera. That made the score 2-3 after 92 minutes of play.
