Damian Lehoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veremundo Alcantara in the 15th minute of the match. When Fansorda CF's Victorino Nobo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SPL's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Victorino Nobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fansorda CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Nobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeru Peña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30thth minute of the game Victorino Nobo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SPL's Zeru Peña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victorino Nobo spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SPL's goal. SPL's Zeru Peña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save SPL from getting a goal against them. After 34 played minutes Fansorda CF got a freekick which was hit by Timo Dorado. Timo Dorado's late challenge caught a SPL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timo Dorado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Timo Dorado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorino Nobo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Zeru Peña skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Isandro Erosa charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isandro Erosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Veremundo Alcantara to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Fansorda CF got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Marquez. Veremundo Alcantara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Lehoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Fansorda CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Nobo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Victorino Nobo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeru Peña was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When Isandro Erosa came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the SPL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isandro Erosa couldn't finish the play. Zeru Peña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Nobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fansorda CF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Saturnino Murcia hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Nobo in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeru Peña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute of the match, Raúl Paz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Damian Lehoi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Timo Dorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Fansorda CF defense, Raúl Paz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Lehoi. The Fansorda CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Lehoi should have stopped the shot. Marcial Benedicto kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Saturnino Murcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The SPL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
