He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Escorial AFC reached it. Pacho Cerreri scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeru Peña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerard Santander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Zeru Peña made a huge save. Zeru Peña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pacho Cerreri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemencin santillana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, SPL's goalkeeper Zeru Peña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Santander. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Veremundo Alcantara put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gentza Santiago. With a little luck, SPL's Zeru Peña got control of the ball when Gerard Santander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerard Santander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Zeru Peña made a huge save. If Clemencin santillana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Veremundo Alcantara in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gentza Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Veremundo Alcantara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eneas Ramis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeru Peña having to interfere. Fidencio Cabezas's late challenge caught a El Escorial AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidencio Cabezas helped the player get up and apologised. Fidencio Cabezas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. El Escorial AFC's Gentza Santiago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save El Escorial AFC from getting a goal against them. Isandro Erosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gentza Santiago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Rubén Gandia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zeru Peña. SPL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eneas Ramis in the 67th minute of play forced SPL's goalkeeper Zeru Peña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raúl Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gentza Santiago having to interfere. Veremundo Alcantara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Pacho Cerreri made a precise shot to the right of Zeru Peña. SPL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
