Lauro Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Dei Manrique received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Salvador Solera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Marcilla was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Izar Gorria's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Izar Gorria's Benito Marcilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salvador Solera. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. 29 minutes into the game, Izar Gorria's Benito Marcilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvador Solera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Izar Gorria's goal looked a bit too open when Santi Quesada came free, but Aniol Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Solera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Marcilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Benito Marcilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Solera having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Izar Gorria's Benito Marcilla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Salvador Solera. Salvador Solera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 47 played minutes Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Llope Ucero. The long shot by Malvin Gómez in the 48th minute really tested Salvador Solera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manolo De Toro made a kick off. Aniol Carmona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolo De Toro in the 57th minute of the match. Aniol Carmona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santi Quesada in the 58th minute. Manolo De Toro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aniol Carmona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Izar Gorria's Benito Marcilla made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salvador Solera was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the game, Eli Caballero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Izar Gorria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almagro the free kick. After a rather tough play, Izar Gorria's Eli Caballero got a free kick in the 70th minute. Salvador Solera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adulfo Zapata in the 73rd minute of the match. Salvador Solera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Marcilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Santi Quesada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dei Manrique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Benito Marcilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izar Gorria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Marcilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dei Manrique recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Izar Gorria were the better team. Izar Gorria's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
