The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gerard Santander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Germán Perpiñán skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luzaga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Eneas Ramis scored to the left of an out of position Germán Perpiñán, making the score, 3-0. Germán Perpiñán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Santander in the 27th minute. Luzaga's Germán Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacho Cerreri in the 31st minute of play. If Yago Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, El Escorial AFC's Germán Perpiñán threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pacho Cerreri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 39 minutes into the match, Luzaga's Ramone Turienzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gentza Santiago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Ramone Turienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luzaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramone Turienzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gentza Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramone Turienzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Eneas Ramis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serginho Massa to make the kick off. The supporters of El Escorial AFC booed when Luzaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tabor Laredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germán Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eneas Ramis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Ramone Turienzo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gentza Santiago. The goal made the score 3-1. Gentza Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Caviezel in the 62nd minute of the match. Eneas Ramis hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Carolo Orozco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gentza Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, El Escorial AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Massa came free, but Gentza Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eneas Ramis kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Massa in the 73rd minute of play forced El Escorial AFC's goalkeeper Gentza Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germán Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yago Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute, Eneas Ramis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germán Perpiñán was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Germán Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yago Paredes in the 82nd minute of play. Pacho Cerreri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Pacho Cerreri notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Luzaga's Germán Perpiñán. Germán Perpiñán was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mauro Caviezel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Luzaga's Serginho Massa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gentza Santiago. Gentza Santiago yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Escorial AFC had played much better football throughout.
