Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luis-Jose Lillo kicked off to start the match. Luis-Jose Lillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis-Jose Lillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Hugo Nadal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mendeica's Mel Macho got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidor Ocaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nayely Bravo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Dean in the 14th minute of play. Nayely Bravo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Dean in the 15th minute of the match. Guido Valines kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Nayely Bravo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidor Ocaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Tabb Rubio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Hugo Nadal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chus Ortega in the 23rd minute of the match. If Chus Ortega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nayely Bravo came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Vicuña's Isidor Ocaña. But to his dismay, Isidor Ocaña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nayely Bravo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tabb Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The wind increased when Victorino Dean made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis-Jose Lillo in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Nadal saved Vicuña from getting behind. Nayely Bravo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Dean in the 55th minute of play. When Mel Macho came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mendeica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mel Macho couldn't finish the play. In the 57th match minute, Vicuña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tabb Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Nayely Bravo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Dean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nayely Bravo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidor Ocaña went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the game, Daniel Candamil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vicuña's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mendeica the free kick. Isidor Ocaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Nayely Bravo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Mendeica's Guido Valines got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Dean in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nayely Bravo saved Mendeica from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Luis-Jose Lillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Nadal. Vicuña's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis-Jose Lillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Hugo Nadal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis-Jose Lillo in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Vicuña getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Colon Bermudez hit a great ball. The Mendeica manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Vicuña to win.
