Elazar Rienda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Iosu Nadal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Bargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xelo Bajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Baudilio Portillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Bargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Marcelo´s FC booed when XEREZ C.D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malvin Montiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to XEREZ C.D getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Malvin Montiel hit a great ball. In the 25th match minute, XEREZ C.D was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xarles Villanueva to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th match minute, XEREZ C.D was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alcadio Escurza to maneuver through the defense. If Marco Contratas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Marco Contratas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XEREZ C.D's Iosu Nadal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iosu Nadal made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Adulfo Blazquez sent off a good shot on target. After 33 minutes of play, Marcelo´s FC's Marco Contratas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iosu Nadal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iosu Nadal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elazar Rienda in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malvin Montiel during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Marcelo´s FC booed when XEREZ C.D was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malvin Montiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Solustiano Rossello charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Solustiano Rossello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xabat Elguero hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 55th minute, Fran Castellano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iosu Nadal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 57 minutes into the match, Marco Contratas notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of XEREZ C.D's Iosu Nadal. Iosu Nadal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dolfo Abancens in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iosu Nadal saved XEREZ C.D from getting behind. Fran Castellano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosu Nadal having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Contratas in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iosu Nadal saved XEREZ C.D from getting behind. A collision led to XEREZ C.D getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Baudilio Portillo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Fran Castellano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iosu Nadal was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elazar Rienda in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iosu Nadal saved XEREZ C.D from getting behind. Xelo Bajo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Contratas in the 98th minute of play forced XEREZ C.D's goalkeeper Iosu Nadal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the XEREZ C.D players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marcelo´s FC.
