If Aladino Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as CF Badalona's William Gene slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Donato Ledo. That made the score 5-0 after 36 minutes of play. After 39 minutes, Nicolás Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarraco Centurions and the CF Badalona players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Tarraco Centurions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolás Castro to maneuver through the defense. Gorri Alvarez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Gene stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Fortunato Pujol in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tarraco Centurions's Nicolás Castro. Donato Ledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Gene, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute.
