Pablo Toxeiro scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eloy Mayol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Cainzos in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 林霖德 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Muleria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Veto Carvajal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Puente Genil were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Puente Genil's Pablo Toxeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eloy Mayol. That made the score 0-5 after 54 minutes of play. Eloy Mayol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veto Carvajal in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes La Muleria FC got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Viejo. In the 64th minute of the match, Veto Carvajal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eloy Mayol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pablo Toxeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eloy Mayol came out and tried to block the shot, but Pablo Toxeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 66th minute. Pablo Toxeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute Pablo Toxeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Mayol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Eloy Mayol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felip Huerta in the 78th minute. The supporters of Puente Genil booed when La Muleria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leizarraga Buenafuente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloy Mayol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Toxeiro in the 96th minute of the match. Puente Genil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
