In the 9th match minute, CF Badalona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Feria to maneuver through the defense. In the 11thth minute of the game Veto Carvajal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF Badalona's Sylwester Zabrzeski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pablo Toxeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Toxeiro in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Zabrzeski saved CF Badalona from getting behind. Puente Genil's Pablo Toxeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Puente Genil's 林霖德 got control of the ball when William Gene tried to sneak it across the goal line. 林霖德 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Feria in the 20th minute of the match. When Puente Genil's Pablo Toxeiro in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CF Badalona's goalie prevented a goal. After 26 played minutes CF Badalona got a freekick which was hit by Nerio Aceves. Pablo Toxeiro took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylwester Zabrzeski. Sylwester Zabrzeski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After having played for 45 minutes, Pablo Toxeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puente Genil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Toxeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Toxeiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Uzuri Camarasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gorri Alvarez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 林霖德. Puente Genil's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, CF Badalona's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Toxeiro came free, but Sylwester Zabrzeski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Veto Carvajal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Puente Genil's 林霖德 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorri Alvarez in the 67th minute of play. Pablo Toxeiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 70 minutes into the game, Mino Clos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CF Badalona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puente Genil the free kick. Mino Clos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Puente Genil's goal looked a bit too open when William Gene came free, but 林霖德 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Gene in the 78th minute of play forced Puente Genil's goalkeeper 林霖德 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Gene in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 林霖德 saved Puente Genil from getting behind. Kaiet Palomar hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gorri Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Badalona's supporters rose to their feet, but Gorri Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 林霖德 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Feria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. 林霖德 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olayo Labarra in the 94th minute of play forced Puente Genil's goalkeeper 林霖德 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CF Badalona were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
