The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alain Arratia during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alain Arratia kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ribadesella defense, Edgar Figari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolás Labarra. The Ribadesella fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolás Labarra should have stopped the shot. Ribadesella's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Eustaquio Turi scored to the left of an out of position Nicolás Labarra, making the score, 2-0. Eustaquio Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Nicolás Labarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Eustaquio Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás Labarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliazar Figueres during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CD Boiro booed when Ribadesella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliazar Figueres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ribadesella's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Edgar Figari scored to the left of an out of position Nicolás Labarra, making the score, 3-0. After 23 minutes of play, CD Boiro's Demario Cuadrado made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolás Labarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Ribadesella's Eliazar Figueres got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute of the match, Edgar Figari got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicolás Labarra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 31st minute, Ribadesella's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edgar Figari fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Boiro's Eustaquio Turi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolás Labarra. That made the score 5-0 after 32 minutes of play. Nicolás Labarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Figari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Nicolás Labarra made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Demario Cuadrado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolás Labarra. Ribadesella's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demario Cuadrado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 44thth minute of the game Eustaquio Turi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ribadesella's Nicolás Labarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Figari got free with Nicolás Labarra in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelines Durango to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ribadesella's zone, Eustaquio Turi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolás Labarra came out of the goal and Eustaquio Turi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute Edgar Figari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás Labarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ribadesella's Nicolás Labarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordeal Ortiz in the 55th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Eustaquio Turi put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nicolás Labarra. Aristeo Camacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perico Raya having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Demario Cuadrado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolás Labarra was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Nicolás Labarra came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Boiro's Eustaquio Turi. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Turi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Nicolás Labarra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Turi went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Edgar Figari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolás Labarra having to make a save. Demario Cuadrado got in the 73rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Nicolás Labarra handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Perico Raya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelines Durango in the 75th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ribadesella! CD Boiro made a substitution. Steve Mur replaced Cordeal Ortiz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Turi in the 82nd minute of play forced Ribadesella's goalkeeper Nicolás Labarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CD Boiro's Eustaquio Turi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustaquio Turi might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolás Labarra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustaquio Turi ran back to his position shaking his head. Demario Cuadrado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolás Labarra having to make a save. After 91 minutes of play Ribadesella's Eliazar Figueres was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 91 played minutes Ribadesella got a freekick which was hit by Eliazar Figueres. Nicolás Labarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Aquilino Helguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolás Labarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Turi in the 94th minute of play. Nicolás Labarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Figari in the 95th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CD Boiro had played much better football throughout.
