In the 36th match minute, Valencia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Arraz to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Valencia FC's goalkeeper Gregorio Bouzon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aniceto Campello. Alfredo Fresnos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Menendez during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valencia FC's Eusebio Menendez got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josu Cabada to make the kick off. Gregorio Bouzon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alda Canales took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Bouzon. Gregorio Bouzon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. If Alfredo Fresnos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Aniceto Campello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Bouzon was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Aniceto Campello put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gregorio Bouzon. After a defensive mix-up in Valencia FC's zone, Aniceto Campello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Bouzon came out of the goal and Aniceto Campello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aniceto Campello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Bouzon having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Aniceto Campello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Gregorio Bouzon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The corner led Ganadería casa Ferreiro's Alfredo Fresnos to fire away a dangerous shot which Gregorio Bouzon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Alda Canales notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Valencia FC's Gregorio Bouzon. Gregorio Bouzon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
