Rafa Abasalo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Imperial's Mino Buendia got a free kick in the 8th minute. Sotil Caminero kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Nando Huguet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederick Baltanas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Rubite FC's Rafa Abasalo in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Imperial's goalie prevented a goal. Ismael Caminero struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Frederick Baltanas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rubite FC. After 17 played minutes Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Millano Pacheco. The audience was convinced that Rafa Abasalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederick Baltanas was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Rafa Abasalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rubite FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Abasalo came free, but Frederick Baltanas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rafa Abasalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederick Baltanas was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The supporters of Rubite FC booed when Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mino Buendia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafa Abasalo in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederick Baltanas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, Idacio Bueno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imperial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rubite FC the free kick. A collision led to Imperial getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Idacio Bueno hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Alfronso Cazorla. After a defensive mix-up in Imperial's zone, Rafa Abasalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederick Baltanas came out of the goal and Rafa Abasalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mino Buendia in the 46th minute of play forced Rubite FC's goalkeeper Arbidel Llorente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abejundio Madariaga was the one to do the kick off. Rafa Abasalo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Frederick Baltanas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, Imperial's goalkeeper Frederick Baltanas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lazaro Prieto. In the 60th minute, Rubite FC's Sol Gasso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sol Gasso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rubite FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sol Gasso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sol Gasso kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Feliz Ladra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arbidel Llorente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederick Baltanas was a little too slow when Gizon Munoz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-3. Ismael Caminero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Frederick Baltanas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gizon Munoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Alfronso Cazorla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pudes Figueres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Rubite FC's Gizon Munoz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frederick Baltanas. Frederick Baltanas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 85 minutes into the match, Rubite FC's Ismael Caminero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederick Baltanas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Imperial's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Pudes Figueres scored to the left of an out of position Frederick Baltanas, making the score, 0-5. Ismael Caminero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Baltanas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gizon Munoz in the 96th minute of play forced Imperial's goalkeeper Frederick Baltanas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Imperial's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nando Huguet was slow to take the kick. During this time Rubite FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Nando Huguet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frederick Baltanas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Imperial fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rubite FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
