After some careless play in the Celtiña defense, Clodoveo Aceves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Macario Hernandez. The Celtiña fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Macario Hernandez should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Celtiña's Knut Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Aceves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Macario Hernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Osvaldo Riba made a precise shot to the right of Macario Hernandez. Celtiña's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 15 played minutes Celtiña got a freekick which was hit by Evrosi Marinkin. Celtiña's Macario Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xelo Hevia in the 17th minute of play. Macario Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Climent, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Macario Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Riba in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xelo Hevia in the 24th minute of play forced Celtiña's goalkeeper Macario Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macario Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xelo Hevia in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Olaf Carceles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Macario Hernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 32 minutes into the game, Felipe Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celtiña's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castellbisbal the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Celtiña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Barral to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Castellbisbal's Xelo Hevia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Macario Hernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After 40 minutes, Xelo Hevia made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Celtiña's Macario Hernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xelo Hevia in the 43rd minute of play forced Celtiña's goalkeeper Macario Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xelo Hevia scored 0-7 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Macario Hernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xelo Hevia made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caton Vagrande during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute Xelo Hevia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Macario Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Climent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Macario Hernandez made a huge save. Celtiña's Macario Hernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Celtiña from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute Xelo Hevia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Macario Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Macario Hernandez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. With a little luck, Celtiña's Macario Hernandez got control of the ball when Xelo Hevia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Avram Avramescu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 95 minutes, Evrosi Marinkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celtiña and the Castellbisbal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Castellbisbal made a substitution. Yvon Macia replaced Peli Borrás.
