The audience was convinced that Lucero Mezquita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Coello was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Lucero Mezquitas short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Damian Coello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

Sperides made a substitution. Nestor Gonzáles replaced Lucero Mezquita. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Harroyo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Sperides's goal looked a bit too open when Nono Nieto came free, but Jenni Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Coello didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sperides's Nestor Gonzáles shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 13-0 in the ordered_time% minute.
