In the 35th minute Fortunato Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Belmiro Entero was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Pacorro Vuelta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TALADROCAMPEON F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pacorro Vuelta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zbigniew Chmelyk hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Laércio Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dino Quirino in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laércio Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Fagondo Vallejo took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Laércio Macedo to make any attempt to save it.
