Sperides's Jenni Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldemer Cartagena in the 5th minute of play. Henning Valler was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Lucero Mezquita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiko Meireles was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, TALADROCAMPEON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Peto came free, but Kiko Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the TALADROCAMPEON F.C defense, Lucero Mezquita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kiko Meireles. After 28 minutes of play, Sperides's Lucero Mezquita made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kiko Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Peto in the 32nd minute of play forced TALADROCAMPEON F.C's goalkeeper Kiko Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of TALADROCAMPEON F.C's goalie and right to Fortun Roca. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. TALADROCAMPEON F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. TALADROCAMPEON F.C's Kiko Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucero Mezquita in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, one of TALADROCAMPEON F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 40 minutes into the match, Roberto Peto notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of TALADROCAMPEON F.C's Kiko Meireles. In the 55th minute, Nestor Gonzáles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sperides fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Kiko Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Gonzáles in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Henning Valler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiko Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Sperides's Bartolomé Vagrande was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kiko Meireles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by TALADROCAMPEON F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bartolomé Vagrande was slow to take the kick. During this time Sperides's players had a chance to rest. 94 minutes into the match, Sperides's Bartolomé Vagrande broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
