Kiko Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Magnusson in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind TALADROCAMPEON F.C's goalkeeper Kiko Meireles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SIMvergüenzas's Frasco Morales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SIMvergüenzas from getting a goal against them. TALADROCAMPEON F.C were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after SIMvergüenzas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hurko Barbosa took the corner. After taking down the ball on TALADROCAMPEON F.C's corner Hurko Barbosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frasco Morales quite easily take care of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, SIMvergüenzas's Jan-Erik Magnusson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kiko Meireles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kiko Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Magnusson in the 23rd minute of play. SIMvergüenzas were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after TALADROCAMPEON F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urtsin Leal took the corner. After 30 played minutes TALADROCAMPEON F.C got a freekick which was hit by Dino Quirino. Jan-Erik Magnusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Erik Magnusson in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kiko Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, TALADROCAMPEON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Magnusson came free, but Kiko Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jan-Erik Magnusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiko Meireles was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. TALADROCAMPEON F.C's Dino Quirino got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Dino Quirino off the ground. In the 44th minute of the match Tulio Vives shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kiko Meireles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldemer Cartagena to make the kick off. Urtsin Leal struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Kiko Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SIMvergüenzas. 53 minutes into the match, SIMvergüenzas's Jan-Erik Magnusson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kiko Meireles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, TALADROCAMPEON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Magnusson came free, but Kiko Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frasco Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fagondo Vallejo in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Erik Magnusson in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kiko Meireles saved TALADROCAMPEON F.C from getting behind. SIMvergüenzas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Urtsin Leal in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Erik Magnusson in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kiko Meireles saved TALADROCAMPEON F.C from getting behind. After 71 minutes of play, TALADROCAMPEON F.C's Fagondo Vallejo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frasco Morales was left in no man's land by his defense there! SIMvergüenzas made a substitution. Nacho Picazo replaced Jan-Erik Magnusson. 79 minutes into the match, TALADROCAMPEON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Nacho Picazo came free, but Kiko Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SIMvergüenzas's Nacho Picazo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, TALADROCAMPEON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Nacho Picazo came free, but Kiko Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by TALADROCAMPEON F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Urtsin Leal was slow to take the kick. During this time SIMvergüenzas's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Galindo Zapater managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
