He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of A.T Macha Real booed when El Chuche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordario Roca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, El Chuche's goal looked a bit too open when Jordi Portillo came free, but Firmo Ponte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Jordi Portillo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as A.T Macha Real's Jordi Portillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Firmo Ponte. That made the score 3-1 after 42 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ximen Treviño was the one to do the kick off. After 88 played minutes El Chuche got a freekick which was hit by Cordario Roca. If Iyan Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Ximo Lorenzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.T Macha Real's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ximo Lorenzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute Jordi Portillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firmo Ponte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A.T Macha Real had played much better football throughout.
